Welcome to the first Newsletter of 2014, as this is our first newsletter of the year all of us at Hawk Miniatures would like to wish you all the best for 2014 and may your paints never run dry and your brushes stay sharp.
The first show we are booked to attend is the British Model Soldier Society’s Annual Show on Saturday 26th April. It is open to all and is being held at the Holiday Inn hotel in Coram Street, London WC1N 1HT. Though we are hoping to attend the Welling Model club show on the 4th April but this has not been confirmed yet.
Well after the preview of this kit at the end of last year. We are please to announce the release of a new bust in our Indian Army range. The new bust is 1/10th scale, with arms, of a Skinner's Horse officer in his mess dress uniform circa 1920, this has been sculpted by Rob Lane and the box art has been painted by Dave Maddox.
At Euro Militair last year we released our 75mm Figure of Arthur Wellesley at the battle of Assaye. At the time we mentioned this was the first of a four figure set that can be put together to show the scene wen Arthur Wellesley rode out to view the Maratha camp.
Well the next figure in the series wil be released at some point in Februay, but here is a preview picture. The next figure is of Lieutenant John Blakiston Royal Engineer, this figure has also been sculpted by Alan Ball and painted by Eddy Vandersteen. The other two figures will be released over the coming months.
The good news though as you are a member of our website you are able to purchase any of our preview kits before they are released. To place an order you just need send us a message through the website and we will send you a PayPal invoice for the amount, with a discount applied and free posage. Once the invoice is paid we will dispatch the order by first class mail.
The website now has all of the products we stock for our friends at Paul Blaber Miniaures and Arcabuz flats by Rafael Cebrian. We will add their new producs as the become available.
