Newsletter: November 2013
Welcome to the November Newsletter, as this is our first newsletter we would like to say thank you for registering on our new website and for asking to receive our newsletter. We are hoping to send these out semi-regularly to announce our new releases and give details about any forth coming shows.
As many of you may be aware Thursday 28th November is Thanksgiving in the United States, what some of you may not be aware of is that the Friday following it is referred to as Black Friday. Many large retailers and online stores in the US have sales on this day to kick start the Xmas shopping period. So for the first time Hawk Miniatures will be having a Black Friday sale which will run from 1:00 am on Friday to Midday on Saturday.
To qualify for the sale you need to be fully registered on the site and spend over £25 pounds then at checkout we will automatically apply a 25% discount to your order. This offer is limited to one order per customer.
As you can see from a news item on our website which has a preview picture and a recent posting on Planet Figure, here , we are in the process of releasing a new bust in our Indian Army range. The new bust is 1/10th scale with arms of a Skinners Horse office in his mess dress uniform and it has been sculpted by Rob Lane. The box art is currently being worked by a new painter to us so more details on that when we formally release the kit.
The good news though is if you are interested in this particular release you can order it before hand at £31 including postage and packaging. To place an order you just need send us a message through the website and we will send you a PayPal invoice for the amount. Once the invoice is paid we will dispatch the order by first class mail.
We are currently adding all of the Arcabuz fats by Rafael Cebrian to our shop we hope to have all items available soon including his recent releases.
Also a couple of customer have pointed out that the site seems a bit slow we are working on this at the moment so please bear with us while we make some changes.
