Red armour is harder than it looks, and freehand is harder than that. In How to paint Blood Angels - Red armour + painting freehand, Alex from Alex Paints paints his first Blood Angel and, rather than dig out the transfers, decides to freehand the chapter markings.

The brushes
Alex says he wanted to “really push the brushes” on this one, and the brushes in question were a combination of Hawk Miniatures and Cryptic Cabin, both detailed in the video description.
