The top Canadian ace of the Great War: this 1/10th fine-scale bust portrays Air Marshal William Avery “Billy” Bishop, VC, CB, DSO & Bar, MC, DFC (1894–1956). Officially credited with 72 aerial victories, Bishop was one of the most decorated pilots of the First World War and, by some accounts, the top-scoring ace of the entire British Empire. Sculpted by Robert Lane, he’s a definitive character study for any Great War aviation collection.
The kit is a multi-part bust supplied unassembled and unpainted, and requires assembly. Any groundwork shown in the photographs was provided by the artist and is not included. Not suitable for children under 12.
